WPI-Bio2Q Newsletter “Bio2Q Connect” Vol. 2, Issue 12 Released

WPI-Bio2Q has released the latest issue of our newsletter, “Bio2Q Connect” (Vol. 2, Issue 12).

This issue highlights the selection of six Bio2Q researchers as “Highly Cited Researchers 2025,” a comprehensive report on the 4th Keio University WPI-Bio2Q International Symposium, and our successful outreach at KEIO TECHNO-MALL 2025.

Key Highlights:

Highly Cited Researchers 2025: Six WPI-Bio2Q researchers were recognized for their global research impact, including Director Kenya Honda, who has achieved the milestone of 12 consecutive years on this list.

4th WPI-Bio2Q International Symposium: Focused on the integration of biology, microbiome, and metabolomics for healthy longevity, featuring insights from 12 leading international researchers and a dynamic poster session by young scientists.

Research Introduction (Series #10): Dr. Nadinath Nillegoda (PI, Bio-1 Core) shares exciting new research exploring how protein quality control (PQC) pathways support the regeneration of the primate gut epithelium.

KEIO TECHNO-MALL 2025: Bio2Q engaged with over 100 visitors at the Tokyo International Forum, showcasing cutting-edge research and connecting with the academic and industrial communities.

Research Internship Program 2026: We are inviting applications for our research internship opportunity under the STaMP program for students interested in Keio’s master’s or doctoral programs.
