New Research Internship Student – Ms. Valeria Kamozina

July 17, 2026

Introducing a new Research Internship Student of Bio2Q

We are delighted to welcome Ms. Valeria Kamozina as a Research Internship Student of Bio2Q.

“Hello Bio2Q-team and friends,

My name is Valeria Kamozina, and I am currently completing my Master’s degree in Biochemistry, specializing in Microbiology and Human Biology, in Munich, Germany. Throughout my studies, I have had the opportunity to gain research experience across Germany and the USA, and I am thrilled to continue my journey in Japan at Keio University.

Joining the laboratories of Prof. Dr. Arita and Dr. Brockmann is an incredible opportunity to deepen my scientific knowledge while experiencing a leading interdisciplinary research environment. I look forward to advancing my skills with Bio2Q’s research approaches.

Beyond the laboratory, I am excited to experience Japanese culture, embrace student life, and learn as much as possible from Japan’s collaborative and inspiring research environment. A major goal of mine during this journey is to build long-lasting connections with the people I meet along the way. Tokyo seems to be a vibrant city full of endless opportunities, and I cannot wait to explore it. I am always happy to receive recommendations for any places, hidden gems, or spots in the city that you find particularly memorable!

I hope this internship will broaden both my scientific perspective and my personal growth. Rather than just a once-in-a-lifetime experience, I really see this as a door opening to the future. I look forward to meeting, collaborating, and learning from all of you!”
