Bio2Q to Participate and Exhibit at the 15th WPI Science Symposium

August 14, 2026

The 15th WPI Science Symposium will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the Osaka University Suita Campus Convention Center.

This year’s theme is “World Premieres Born from Me! ~Science I Want to Share with Someone~.” All 18 centers of the World Premier International Research Center Initiative (WPI) will gather for a wide range of programs. Highlights include a special lecture by Nobel Laureate Prof. Shimon Sakaguchi (Specially Appointed Professor at Osaka University WPI-IFReC / Distinguished University Professor at Osaka University), interactive sessions and poster presentations between enthusiastic high school students from across Japan and WPI researchers, panel discussions, and exhibition booths representing each WPI center.

From Bio2Q, Project Associate Professor Shohei Kojima of the Genome Dynamics Analysis Team will attend to present cutting-edge research and engage with high school students. Additionally, Bio2Q will host a booth to introduce the center’s work.

It will be an inspiring day to experience the innovative ideas of young WPI researchers and high school students while enjoying the wonder of scientific discovery. We look forward to seeing you there!
