On February 20, Dr. Magdalena Skipper, Editor-in-Chief of the prestigious scientific journal Nature, visited CRIK Shinanomachi together with Springer Nature Japan’s Director Hiromitsu Urakami and Commercial Director Ikuko Oba.
During the visit, active discussions were held with researchers affiliated with WPI-Bio2Q. Participants from Bio2Q included Professor Toshiro Sato (Dean of the Graduate School of Medicine), Professor Kazuyoshi Ishigaki, Specially Appointed Professor Michisuke Yuzaki, Project Professor Nadinath Nillegoda, Director of Research Programs Scott Behie, and Administrative Director Oltea Sampetrean. Together with Keio University President Kohei Itoh and Vice President for Research Toshiharu Saiki, they exchanged views on cutting-edge research topics.
This direct dialogue with Dr. Skipper and her team, who provide perspectives from one of the world’s leading scientific journals, was a highly meaningful opportunity for the researchers on the front lines. Bio2Q remains committed to disseminating world-leading research results through such international dialogues and collaborations.
