We are pleased to announce the call for poster abstracts for the 5th Keio University WPI-Bio2Q International Symposium, to be held on Wednesday, December 9 and Thursday, December 10, 2026, at the Kitasato Auditorium, Shinanomachi Campus, Keio University.
We invite applications from early-career researchers and graduate students interested in gut-brain interaction, eager to engage in multi-perspective discussions on how the brain, peripheral organs, immune system, and gut microbiota communicate to influence health and disease.
We plan to accept 10 poster presentations. Submissions will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Presentations aligned with this year’s symposium theme, “Wiring the Body: Brain–Organ–Microbiome Networks,” are especially welcome.

◆Participant Benefits:
– Travel awards will be granted to a small number of accepted applicants (restricted to domestic participants).
– Access to attend all sessions of the 5th Keio University WPI-Bio2Q International Symposium.
– Complimentary lunch and coffee breaks on both December 9 and 10.
(Separate registration via the symposium registration form is required.)

4. Poster Size & Specifications
Please print and mount your poster in A0 size (Portrait orientation) or equivalent during the designated setup times. Poster boards and pushpins will be provided at the venue.
5. Mounting Instructions
– Attach your poster with pushpins to the panel matching your assigned presentation number.
– Presentation numbers will also be posted at the venue.
6. Poster Removal
Posters must be removed by 19:20 on Wednesday, December 9. Any posters remaining after this time will be removed by the Secretariat. Please note that remaining posters will not be stored or returned.
7. Abstract Submission Content
– Presentation Title: Both Japanese and English
– Author Name(s) & Affiliation(s): Both Japanese and English
(Non-Japanese applicants are not required to enter Japanese fields; English-only entries are accepted.)
– Abstract Body (English): Up to 150 words
