The project, led by Advanced Research Project Professor Michisuke Yuzaki, Special Advisor to the Director of Bio2Q and Principal Investigator at Keio University’s World Premier International Research Center Initiative Center for Human Biology-Microbiome-Quantum Research (WPI-Bio2Q), has been selected for the 5th round (FY2026) of the “Program for International Expansion of Deep Tech Startups (D-Global)” by the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
This project, titled “Development of Therapeutics for Parkinson’s DiseaseProje Aiming for Recovery of Motor Functions and Suppression of Disease Progression Through Reconstruction of Dopaminergic Synapses,” is also supported by the Keio Startup Incubation Program (KSIP). Keio Innovation Initiative (KII) serves as the representative commercialization promotion agency.
