ANNOUNCEMENT
Bio2Q New Member
September 1, 2023

On September 1, we welcomed a new member, Dr. Huizhuo PAN as a postdoctoral fellow in Bio2Q.
Greeting from her is as below.
I’m Huizhuo PAN, and I’m honored to be a member of Bio2Q group. Now I’m working as a postdoctoral researcher in Professor Kenya Honda’s lab. My research interest is the effect of gut microbiota and their metabolites on enteric nerve system homeostasis. Specifically, I focus on how Enteroendocrine cell (EEC) transduce luminal bacteria metabolite signals to enteric neuron.
Since the enteric neuron and EEC are important parts of gut-brain axis, these findings may promote revealing the multi-organ crosstalk between gut and brain.
I’m very looking forward to working with other excellent researchers in Bio2Q!
